I bought a Black & Decker 12 speed blender last night at Kroger (on sale!). Despite an explosion (perhaps reading directions on appliances is advisable after all?), I successfully made and consumed a celery, blueberry, almond milk, banana smoothie.
Last night I congratulated myself for weathering restaurant trips over the weekend with friends (where I couldn’t eat anything on the menu and mentally drooled) by buying some SO Delicious coconut milk, no sugar added (but it had stevia… which may explain the intestinal discomfort) ice cream:
From now on I should be able to use smoothies to allay my ice cream cravings!
Didn’t get around to trying the burger recipe due to wonky appetite/bloating today, but tomorrow!
